I Just was looking at the FlyMasters of Indianapolis booklet for 2011 and found out about the Tippecanoeflyfishers.org I have taken back up fly fishing and tying after a 15 year gap off hunting Wild Turkeys all of the country! Boy things sure have change in fly fishing in the last 15 years. I am updating just about every thing I have. My new Grey reel is to arrive here in Brazil ,Indiana tomorrow. I am a retired guy on a limited income. But, I am sure if I can get East to Indy I can get North to Lafayette..I'm living about 11 mikes East of Terre Haute. Anybody within a hour of me! Coop

Coop, Good to have you on board. The members get down in the Terra Haute area in the spring to fish some of the ponds along I-70 and at Rose Hulman. I know it seems way off but we will make sure to contact you when the time comes. We have a great group that ties first Thursday of each month that you might be interested in. Just keep on watching the site and make a post from time to time so we know you are still out there. Our casting clinic might be worth the drive in the late spring. We have a great time on a private lake good food fun fellowship and big fish.

So nice to read all of everyone's comments. I live in Brazil(Indiana) so I fish alot near Staunton at the IDNR"S Chinook property, I landed two nice Browns last week in the stocked pit. So some have made it from the springs stocking. I was fishing with weighted streamers Micky Finn and Black Wooly Buggers. I have never fished at Rose Hulman. I may check that out soon. Sure will be nice to meet you folks there next spring. I like to fish small streams and still waters. I have a bad hip; To darn old to mess with a boat. Heck I might fall out!! Ha ha, Coop

Coop, welcome to the boards! I have a property down in Parke County so you'll have to turn me on to the good spots down that way (I won't ask for secret ones tho!). Glad you joined us and hope to fish with you soon!

Yep! we'll go fishing radioflyer. I went back to Chinook today. Saw an Eagle get a fish. That was cold. Lady to my right landed at 18 inche Cappie on a worm from a pran near the weed beds on Worm Pit.. I seem to spend a get deal of time today sticking streamers into under water logs..No fish for me. But it was a good day of fishing. I need some castling lessons one on one with somebody, Anyone within 25 miles of me would do. I seem to have forgot a lot of casts. Coop
