Has anyone used any of the traditional or classic wet flies with any success. They really are quite the art form, but I'm just interested to see if anyone has caught fish on any. I'm particularly interested in the McGinty. Anyone else like them? Fished them? Caught anything with 'em?

I'd be interested to see if anyone locally catches with them. I love classic wet flies and would love to be able to tie them. I have this mental block about tying certain flies and classic wets are one of those that I can never ever seem to get right. Would love to get good at tying them...especially if they actually catch anything locally!

There is nothing like a day on the water, any water with fish in it.

These are fantastic flies for summer bluegills tied on a #10 or #12 hook. They are also great for trout in Minn. wrt
