I don't know how many of you have heard of or used Ice Dub before, but I picked some up last week. I am very impressed with it and am planning on picking some up in colors suited for nymphs soon. I picked up some in Blue Steelie and tried it on a bugger and a steelhead fly. Check it out!!! This one just has a collar made from it, could have done it bigger for more flash. Also seems a bit out of proportion, maybe should have left off the tag and kept the tail as is or left off the squirrel tail tail and used a golden pheasant crest or some other feather. Anyhow, any ideas for a name for it? The bugger with the blue head...bass perhaps? Names for it???

Yep, got a few packs of ice dub. It's nice stuff. Kinda just gave me an idea to use it on some gurgler's I've been tying. ;D

Dave you can use Ice dub for gurglers but I find ice or polar chenille or estaz to work much easier.
