OK! This is not an entry level wading boot, that is unless you never want to have to buy another pair possibly ever! At a suggested retail of $169.00 ( I could not find them at less than 179.) they are a bit pricey. But that's just a drop in the bucket if you say bought yourself a Harley this year, or have a PHD, or own an audio/video production company. Or of course you just fly around in a big private airplane all the time. But hey no one in this club does any thing like that. The Simms River Tek BOA boot is about the best new non-felt boot on the market today. It incorporates the BOA lace system used on the best ski and snow board boots sold. And I tell you what pardoners that make them the easiest by far to get on and off. The BOA is also warrantied for life if it ever breaks Simms will repair or replace it FOREVER The boots diamond rubber cleat sole gives excellent grip. And can be enhanced with three different attachable spikes. I bought a set of the titanium cleats for an additional $40. but just might return them. The boot also has a front latch at the base of the tongue for waders that have integrated gaiters. And the lacing is aeronautics grade stainless steel, you'll never replace or break a lace again. On a scale of 1-10 their close to an 11 very, very comfortable built like a battle ship and angler responsible. (since it looks like most of the west will be felt free in 2 to 3 years. So if you want a top of the line boot the River Tek BOA is it and they look cool on a Harley too.
