Focus grasshopper,,,, Focus! For what I can see they look very realistic, the joints are all in the right spot, the color is right and you can actually see all the folds and their in the proper places. Can't tell if the nails need trimmed, or not, but all in all not bad! LOL Beware of Hard as Hull. It will chip off in one piece without sticking to the fly! I used it for a while on salt water flies and it would come off the head in one large piece like it was never stuck to the thread, just laying there looking pretty.

Tied these tonight in Chicago. Thinking I might try them for sunfish and bluegill. Two McGinty variants and four nymphs I created tonight. Everything on size 10 except for the smaller nymph which is a size 14. Hook style is Tiemco TMC2457. Any feedback is welcome; anyone think they'll work?

Tied some caddis nymphs, hoping to catch some 'gills with them in a couple weeks maybe. I don't get to try the stuff out very often. I might need a tester for flies I make lol. These three in size 8, 10, and 14. Tried to go fairly sparse with the wing/legs. Same sort of thing, just a little different color. Size 10 as well.

Well Barry, I had 3 size 20 hooks so I tried it out... I haven't tied anything this small in quite some time (YEARS) so it was a good challenge. I tied one tonight and I'll try some more soon. Anyhow, for a size comparison I put the size 20 with the size 10. Dubbing, rib, legs and peacock herl - pretty simple, but I've heard they're very effective.

Good looking bugs TNT. I don't think I've tied anything smaller than a size 10!
