Wow! I've spent sever hours at the bench the last few weeks just staring at the pegboard on the back! I think it's tiers block, can't seem to get anything done! Maybe I just need a hint of spring to get over the winter blues!

I was so pumped of from Feenstra's presentation last night, but the last thing i need are more steelhead streamers. So i sat at the vise briefly last night and started working on a big trout streamer box for myself.

First you have to have the pictures upload to the net. You can use facebook, flicker, photobucket or another source. Than you need to copy and paste the location address to your post.

So, the pictures are quite out of focus, sorry about that. The top one is simply a tag of flat gold tinsel, a peacock herl body ribbed with flat gold tinsel, fox squirrel tail wing with brown saddle hackle. The second is a tag of flat silver tinsel, two thirds of the body purple steelhead dubbing ribbed with flat silver tinsel, a "thorax" or collar of peacock herl with a black and a brown saddle hackle palmered in, and a fox squirrel tail wing. The last one was a bit on the experimental side; flat silver tinsel tag, purple chenille body with flat silver tinsel rib, black and red saddle hackle collar with a black maribou wing (I'm wondering if that wing will flow and work properly) For the heads, I've been using "hard as hull" cement, and it really seems to be good stuff! Really good looking heads on my flies lately. Anyone have any input (good or bad)? I haven't had a chance to try them, nor have I had a chance to go for steelhead for that matter. What do you think?
