Well, you all know how much I love using flex floss for tying panfish flies. With that in mind I tied up some larger midges or Buzzers on size 8 200T hooks. I also tied up some new inch worms or wooly worms. I used Clear Cure Goo to hole the hackle in place. Here are the pics.
On the green inch worm I stripped one side of the hackle before wrapping. The red ones I did not. I tie the hackle on then the flex floss. Wrap the floss then tie off and clip. Before wrapping the hackle I coat the fly with CCG using a cheap paintbrush. Wrap the hackle the hit with UV light to cure the CCG. Once it is cured I tie off the hackle, trim, and finish the fly.
