New for 2009 is Fishpond's PIOpack (PackItOutpack). It looks kind of like an insulated coffeecup with a soft, slotted top in it. It hooks to your belt or clips to your vest and you stuff the junk you have into it and carry it out. It will hold anything from cigar butts and power bar wrappers to the tippet/leader tag ends that we snip off and try to stuff into our fishing vests that ALWAYS seems to crawl back out when we pull our fly boxes out.
It's light weight and the slotted top keeps stuff from ending up in the water, where we, good conservationists that we are, don't want it! The site I saw it on lists it as approx. $13. I'm thinking I'll be getting one before spring.

I bet Krebsie could fashion something equally effective out of some yarn, a piece of duct tape, and a gum wrapper. At a materials price of $0.03 and being the generous guy he is by not charging labor, that is a net savings of $12.97. Don't say I never gave you anything.

Trent; You NEVER gave me anything! You're trying to get Krebsie to give me something! C'mon man! You gotta get in touch with your inner man and GIVE till it hurts - even if it hurts when you begin! Pat

I know Orvis has come out with something similar Read about them on other posts, but fishers seem to like the Fishpond contraption better. I agree that Krebsie could probably make one out of a inkpen nib, nine inches of floss and a pop can.
