Hello fellow TFF members and any other stream, lake, or pond marauders. I'm posting a link to a neat, some times not so little fly, that I found while researching pike flies for Colorado. coloradoflyfisher.blogspot.com/2012/03/sweet-bass-and-pike-fly.htmlHere is one I tied using XXX pearl Mylar tubing and a Daiichi #3847 2/0 circle hook. The fly is 4 1/2 " long but weights almost nothing.

That is a cool looking fly Barry. I didn't read the article yet but is that clear cure goo for the tail?

No believe it or not it's hot craft glue. you tie this fly with your flash material sticking out the tail end of the Mylar put a glop (that's a precise amount) of hot glue on the flash sticking out and using an ample amount of tyers mousse ;D on your fingers squeeze it flat. hold for a few seconds and then trim with scissors.
